network app?
Hello everyone I want an app that I can use to drop a file on the desktop on all the computers on my network, all Macs, I was thinking I could connect to their individual SMB servers, just an idea, how might I be able to do this (or in some other way connect to each individual computer or all depending on what is selected in the drop down menu) do this in Cocoa?
The UI screen shot is attached to this post. Its pretty simple, I want to be able to launch the application, Type in the Username (Account name) and Password, and all the computers on the network (they all have the same account names and passwords) (I will manually enter the account names and passwords, so just leave a blank in the code for that and i'll put it in), and then I want it to be able to, select (by clicking the "Browse..." button) the item I want copied (and I don't want it erased from the host computer) to ALL the computers desktops on my network with the account information added at the beginning. Or I want it to drop on one specific computer, if the person at the host selects a specific comp from the drop down, I want to be able to have it go to that computer only, or if the person selects "ALL COMPUTERS" from the drop down I want it to go to all of the computers aside from the host computer becauase it is alreadt on it ;).

PS. I want the item that is being sent from the host computer to go to whatever account the person typed in the information to at the launch of the app. I want the item to appear on the desktop of the account for the computer selected, or all, whichever is selected. Please leave me some method of being able to communicate with an individual computer and drop a file on it's desktop of the account selected on the "Account Information" window when you start a new session, or all of the computers. I want to incorporate the menu bar (at the top) into my main window and make the selection "About The Ultimate Network Flight" load the "About The Ultimate Network Flight" window panel when someone clicks that option, and when someone chooses "File --> New Session" I want to make it so it comes up with the default main window, ask for the account information again (make it required on all sessions) (see the Account Window attachment) ready to send another file! I want to be able to click "Browse..." and load the typical window when opening, searching for, saving, or browsing for a document or file on software apps like this, and I want to be able to have the "Path Control" show the path to the file. I want the person using the app to select a computer or select "ALL COMPUTERS" and have it send the files to the desktops of all the computers on the list in the main window and I want it to put it onto the desktop of the account that was entered at the beginning of the session.
